The Technical Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily technical operations on site, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with safety standards, quality workmanship, and effective supervision of technical teams. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate resources to meet client and operational requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily activities of technical teams on site.
Ensure all technical work is completed according to company standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship quality.
Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are achieved.
Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and contractors.
Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with problem-solving on site.
Ensure equipment, tools, and materials are available and properly maintained.
Monitor compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks and promote a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
Liaise with clients regarding technical matters, progress updates, and service delivery.
Escalate breakdowns, risks, delays, and operational challenges to management.
Assist with project planning, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained on site.
Manage performance and productivity of assigned team members.
Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
Technical qualification or trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Millwright, or related field preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years’ technical experience.
Previous supervisory or team leader experience required.
Valid driver’s licence.
Strong knowledge of technical systems, maintenance, and installations.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Strong technical problem-solving abilities.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
