The Stock Controller is responsible for ensuring that all goods received and dispatched from the company are in good condition, accurately recorded, and meet customer delivery requirements. This role involves overseeing stock control, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, and managing warehouse staff. The successful candidate will play a key role in preventing stock losses and ensuring efficient storage and movement of products.
Key Performance Areas:

Stock Control:
- Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes.
- Oversee receiving and dispatching processes to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Manage stock records and resolve any discrepancies within 5 working days.

Operations:
- Ensure the safe and organized stacking and storage of products.
- Manage yard personnel and ensure the efficient loading of products.

Quality Control:
- Ensure that all products loaded and dispatched meet quality standards and are free from defects.

Housekeeping:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and yard to high safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric qualification.
- Valid forklift license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in store management.
- Industry knowledge and experience.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in Sage Evolution and relevant software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Team management and leadership abilities.
- Basic accounting skills and customer service orientation.
