Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate technical teams on-site, ensuring that installations, maintenance, repairs, and projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and technical staff.
• Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
• Allocate tasks and manage staff productivity on-site.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues or risks.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and management regarding project progress.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Compile site reports, attendance registers, and progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems on-site.
• Train and guide junior technicians and site staff where required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a technical or supervisory role.
• Experience supervising teams on-site.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and project plans.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Computer literacy (MS Office, reporting systems, emails).
