Identifying Potential Customers

We adopt a strategic approach to identifying potential fleet customers, setting minimum entry criteria to ensure they align with our service offerings. Prospective customers typically own at least seven link trucks, which translates to a significant monthly tyre spend. Leads are sourced through referrals, direct research, and on-the-ground observations. Once a lead is validated, our sales team engages with the potential customer, moving them through a structured process from prospect to target account.

Sales Process

Our sales cycle begins with a comprehensive introduction to ATT’s products & service portfolio, typically through a detailed presentation & fleet assessment. During this assessment, our experts identify opportunities to reduce cost-per-kilometre (CPK) & improve tyre performance. Once a solution is proposed, we guide the client through the credit application process, ultimately culminating in their first purchase. Following this, the account is transitioned into an ongoing customer relationship, managed through a regular call-cycle.

Purpose and Objectives

Our division’s overarching goal is to optimise fleet performance by delivering tangible cost-saving solutions. Regular on-site inspections, tyre pressure checks, and fleet assessments form the backbone of our service offerings, all designed to reduce tyre scrappage and extend tyre life. We provide a comprehensive suite of services, including Onsite Fleet Management and Tyre Maintenance Solutions tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.

Our dedicated teams—comprising Onsite Fitters, Roaming Site Supervisors, and Technically Knowledgeable Experts—work tirelessly to ensure that our customers’ tyres are operating at peak efficiency. This is supported by our Offsite Truck Drive-Thru Centre, where we offer tyre fitting, repairs, wheel alignment, and other essential services. Additionally, our National Truck Breakdown Service provides an extra layer of security, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency for our clients.

A key element of our value proposition is our Retreading Plant, which allows us to extend the life of tyres by up to three times in some cases. This offers a cost-effective alternative to full tyre replacements, while also supporting environmentally-friendly practices by reducing waste. Retreading represents a greener, sustainable solution that aligns with our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

By focusing on efficiency and cost savings, particularly in relation to Cost-Per-Kilometre (CPK), we empower our clients to manage their fleets more effectively. Our goal is to become a trusted partner, delivering tailored, high-performance solutions that consistently drive operational improvements across their fleets.

Key Personnel and Roles

Our sales team is segmented to maximise focus & expertise across different customer profiles. The Fleet Solutions Team caters specifically to all forms of logistics companies, Transporter or Haulers. A dedicated Technical Sales team lead the on-site services division, whilst an additional dedicated Sales team oversee customer engagement, ensuring all operational needs are met seamlessly.

Future Plans and Projects

As part of our growth strategy, we aim to expand our sales team, with a particular focus on penetrating high-potential regions such as KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), NorthWest and Limpopo This expansion will not only increase our market reach but also create opportunities for management development and team restructuring to support this growth.

We are also collaborating closely with our technical teams on future projects, such as an upcoming Testing Initiative Program designed to elevate our service offerings & enhance customer satisfaction. By constantly innovating & improving our services, we aim to remain at the forefront of the industry & continue delivering exceptional value to our customers.
